National Center of Afro-American Artists records, 1968-1998.

The collection documents the founding, administration, financial operations, of the Center and its components, the Elma Lewis School of Fine Arts and the Museum of the National Center of Afro-American Artists. It also documents the Center's involvement in the African American and arts communities internationally, nationally, and locally, and the Center's efforts to preserve and promote African and African American culture through theater, music, dance and the visual arts.
